Restoring government to the proper role will lead to decreased spending and thus eliminate the need for increased taxes. The state of Kansas has unwisely invested in private business with no guarantee of returning the money from investments to the taxpayers. State government should be returned to the appropriate role of funding and operating basic programs only. Education, Public safety and the promotion of responsible economic development should be the role of state government I pledge my efforts to build coalitions that restore the economic climate of kansas without increasing taxes. Taxpayers should be served first. |
